Tenrep is proud to announce that we have now been involved in our 40th EV fast charging site for Mer in Sweden, since our collaboration began in January 2023. This latest station will be established at Frasses in Öjebyn, Piteå, right along the busy E4 highway.
It has been an incredible journey. In just over two and a half years, Mer has built a strong and growing fast-charging network across the country. From the very first sites in 2023 to today’s 40 stations with Tenrep’s involvement, the focus has always been on creating an accessible and reliable infrastructure that makes driving electric both convenient and attractive.
Fast charging is a crucial piece of the puzzle for the transition to electrified mobility. By locating stations in strategic places – along highways, near retail hubs, and at key destinations – EVs become practical for both everyday commuting and long-distance travel.
For Tenrep, the collaboration with Mer is a shining example of how long-term partnerships deliver results. Our role has been to identify prime locations, engage with property owners, and negotiate agreements that benefit landowners, partners, and Mer alike. Reaching 40 stations is clear proof that the model works.
We would like to extend a big thank you to all the stakeholders who have contributed along the way. The work continues – the next milestone is already in sight, and we look forward to expanding Sweden’s charging infrastructure together with Mer.
